Compliance Test Services

USB has evolved from a data interface capable of supplying limited power to a primary provider of power with a data interface.

The USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) enhanced USB 2.0 and USB 3.1 with the USB power delivery specification. This specification enables flexible power delivery up to 100 W (up to 20 V and 5 A).

All USB Power Delivery enabled devices are required to use the USB Type-C connector which means they must pass tests verifying compliance with both the PD and the USB Type-C specifications.

ASIG is performing the complete suite of USB-IF Power Delivery Compliance Tests for both Cable E-Marker and PD Devices.
